The National Property Practitioners Council is South Africa’s largest property sector trade association. The Council’s member organisations collectively represent over 40 000 registered property practitioners involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.
The NPPC was established to unite all agents, business brokers, bond consultants, developers, managing agents, and all individuals falling within the ambit of the Property Practitioners Act No. 22 of 2019, which provides for the regulation of property practitioners.
The NPPC seeks to create an enabling environment, inclusive of all role players, to influence and shape the future of the real estate landscape and has become a platform for government and industry consultation and cooperation.
The NPPC is the catalyst that enables its member organisations to operate as a single force in all matters pertaining to the sector. The Council leverages its experienced and diverse membership to influence, shape and achieve value for the sector and is empowered to find solutions to the many challenges faced by its associates.
The Council’s mandate is to formulate, develop and implement credible industry-wide strategies capable of addressing national key imperatives and industry objectives. These include, but are not limited to, industry regulation, transformation and education priorities.
